Hematology

The Division of Hematology at Dalhousie University/ Nova Scotia Health Authority leads and participates in the compassionate care of patients with hematological disorders whose disease may be benign or malignant.   All patient referrals are triaged promptly.  In some situations, further tests are undertaken prior to the patient being seen.  In other circumstances, a letter of response may be written to the referring physician.

The wait time is for new patients and is based on the time between when the referral was received by the division and the appointment date of the patient.
