Service/Procedure Summary

The Division of Geriatric Medicine at Dalhousie University provides secondary and tertiary care to frail elderly patients throughout Nova Scotia.  The Division provides expertise in the assessment, care and management of conditions affecting the frail elderly and their families/caregivers.  The PATH (Palliative and Therapeutic Harmonization) Clinic helps very frail older adults and/or their families make complex medical/surgical decisions that optimize health and preserves quality of life.
